Client: Term 2 Project

Project Description:

The opportunity this project presented was to find a website needing a redesign and while doing so, creating a better user experience. The project required us to create a site using a program to build a medium/hi-fidelity mock-up of our site.

Solution:

To create a medium/high fidelity site, I used Adobe's Muse. It was quick to build the site, however, I would never choose to make a site built in muse a final product.

I found a site that was in need of updating, branding and a cohesive design. In this project I had the opportunity to not only improve an existing site and rebrand it, I was also able to redesign the task flow for the purchasing of a gift certificate on the site.

I experienced content creation, user testing and taking the design and user interface through to a high fidelity prototype. I was able to push my skills to the level needed to ensure success of the project. I have renamed the company to protect the original site's owner.

Please note, as this was just a mock up of a site focused on user interface and the usability of the purchase form, not all the links in the navigation work as they were not pertinent to the task flow discussed.
